Elizabeth works as Grants & Special Projects Coordinator for the Cumberland County Government in Portland, Maine to obtain federal grants and to assist municipalities to work together. She has a masters degree in public policy.  Elizabeth was a Rotary exchange student to Costa Rica for one year after high school, went to college in New Mexico, and has travelled to Europe and West Africa.  She has led trips on bicycles, schooners and horseback.  Elizabeth ran for public office, and has served on numerous public committees.  She also researches and designs housing and community projects.  Elizabeth enjoys yoga, bicycling, hiking, swimming, dancing, playing bass and singing in her tango band
